QUILTED PEAK CAP
An Ikat print 6 panel quilted peak cap with an elastic cinched size adjuster
Ikat is a resist dying technique involving binding yarns and dying them to create a pattern before weaving on a handloom. The process may be repeated multiple times and in different colours in both warp & weft to create the desired pattern. The “blurry” characteristics of an Ikat weave are the result of the extreme difficulty for the weaver to line up the dyed yarns in a perfect formation, especially in complicated patterns or multiple colours.
