A khadi boxy fit shirt in natural Indigo chambray with hand embroidered floral motifs. The motif was inspired by the semi precious stone inlays found in Mughal architecture across North India.
Our khadi (handspun yarn and handwoven fabric) clothing is either left in its natural undyed state or yarn dyed with natural indigo. The yarn is handspun and the fabric handwoven in Gondal, Gujarat, by the weaving collective Udyog Bharti that supports over 2000 weaving families in sustainable textile production.
Due to the hand-process, slubs and uneven weaving may occur and should be considered a unique characteristic. The more you wear this shirt, the softer and more comfortable it will get. This is a shirt to keep forever!
Interesting fact: No electricity was used in the making of this fabric.
